Domenica 8 agosto alle ore 21, sarà presentato all'interno del progetto roads and desires a Frigole (località nei pressi di Lecce), lo spettacolo internazionale Persae, regia di Fabio Tolledi, che attraverso I Persiani di Eschilo e Quattro ore a Chatila di Jean Genet, attualizza il destino del naufragio e della frontiera.

Venerdì 6 agosto, alle ore 21, presso il Teatro Romano di Lecce andrà in scena lo spettacolo internazionale Lysistrata, primo studio sull’oscenità del potere, con la presenza di attori provenienti da Francia, Spagna, Palestina, Giordania, Malta, Cipro e Italia che hanno preso parte alla residenza internazionale.
Lysistrata è riappropriazione dei tempi del comico, della carnalità dell’esperienza umana, nella sua distanza dalle ‘armi di distrazione di massa’ proprie della televisione, nel suo essere costante dissacrazione.
È una trama matrilineare, uterina, che riannoda l’urgenza dell’accoglimento dell’altro da sé, della molteplicità delle nostre esistenze. È, ancora, smascheramento dell’inutilità della violenza e della ragion militare, risata che tutto muta, che denuda il potere

Persae is a reflection on conflict as principle of destruction, on frontiers as principles of separation between individuals, on migration. Written and directed by Fabio Tolledi, the performance is based on Aeschylus’ tragedy The Persians and Four hours in Chatila by Jean Genet.

Astràgali Teatro will present at the XVI Amman International Theatre Festival its last performance, Lysistrata - first study on the obscenity of power for the direction of Fabio Tolledi, with actors
coming from Italy, Jordan, Cyprus, France.
The performace is part of the project Roads and desires - theatre overcomes frontiers, supported by the Programme Culture 2007-2013/ of the European Union.
Lysistrata, tackels again with the urgency to use the comic register to speak about the useleness of war, and to confirm, on the other hand the importance of desire ad a natural right. Lysistrata puts upside
down, with a laughter, the war started by men which is the last frontier to reach and overpass Inspired to the homonymous comedy by Aristophane sit is meant as an initial path of investigation of the connection between power, obscenity and laughter, Fabio Tolledi chooses to deal with the register of
comedy, through a complete rewriting of the text in collaboration with Benedetta Zaccarello, philosopher and researcher at the CNRF of Paris.
Lysistrata is, literary, the one who loosens the armies; the one who convinces all Greek women to occupy the Akropolis, giving the start to the first strike in history: the strike of sex.
Lysistrata's choice, for Astràgali, is connected to the possibility to wonder about the pre-comic.
It is indeed female the matrix which the birth of comic is attributed to, in that far origin where tragedy and comedy were an indistinct nebula of rituals and dances.
Lysistrata, first study on the obscenity of power is a feast, a singing, dancing image, whipping attack to the political power.
Lysistrata is meant as a re-appropriation of the rhythm of comic, of the carnality of human experience, in its long distance from 'the mass
distraction weapons' of television, and in its being continuous desecration. It is a female, uterine plot which renews the urgency of welcoming the other as well as the multiplicity of our existences.
Furthermore, it is the unmasking of the uselessness of violence and of military reason, it is a laughter that strips power.

On 16 and 17 January, Astràgali Teatro presents at its venue, the international performance Lysistrata - first study on the obscenity of the power.
This new international production directed by Fabio Tolledi is inspired to the homonymous comedy by Aristophanes. For Lysistrata, initial path of investigation of the connection between power, obscenity and laughter, Fabio Tolledi chooses to deal with the register of comedy, through a complete rewriting of the text in collaboration with Benedetta Zaccarello, philosopher and researcher at the CNRF of Paris.

Lo spettacolo per più lingue, scritto e diretto da Fabio Tolledi, è basato sulla tragedia di Eschilo Persiani e su Quattro ore a Chatila di Jean Genet. Oggetto della tragedia di Eschilo Persiani è un evento storico realmente accaduto- la sconfitta dei persiani da parte della coalizione greca, a Salamina.
Eschilo fa una scelta audace: quella di raccontare la vicenda dalla parte del nemico. Due fronti, due eserciti, schierati l’uno contro l’altro.
I Persiani, sconfitti, i corpi massacrati, nel mare, persi.
Persae, persi, perdus, lost.
Persae è una riflessione sul conflitto come principio di distruzione, sulla frontiera come principio di separazione degli individui, sulla migrazione.
Uomini e donne migranti che attraversano le frontiere per fuggire dalla guerra, dalla miseria, corpi migranti che si perdono nel mare/frontiera.
Persae mescola lingue e suoni diversi, scegliendo la via del sincretismo, della molteplicità, della diversità poetica realizzata ed esperita attraverso l’incontro.

anteprima assoluta alla stazione ferroviaria di Zollino
La residenza si svolgerà dal 1 al 10 agosto a Zollino, in provincia di Lecce, nel sud Italia e porterà alla realizzazione finale di un evento spettacolare che vedrà la presenza di tutti i partecipanti al workshop.
L'evento sarà realizzato il 10 agosto alle ore 21 presso la stazione ferroviaria di Zollino, luogo di snodo dei treni diretti nell’estremo lembo del Salento, luogo del viaggio, crocevia di transiti e memorie, in una terra che ha conosciuto e ancora conosce la migrazione, e che migranti ha accolto e accoglie, all’interno di dinamiche molto contraddittorie e problematiche.
L'evento sarà inserito negli eventi del Festival Virtuale, che fornirà un panorama delle più significative creazioni artistiche, legate alla migrazione, realizzate in Europa.
